Hasman, who had his girlfriend on the back of his bike, exchanged words with the driver of the van at a red light. The driver of the van then jumped out and went over and punched Hasman off his bike. Rochester, NY has been plagued with more and more violent crime, some of the worst per capita in the nation, so you can't be too careful when driving through the city. Fearing for his and his girlfriends safety, he pulled out his gun and shot the man, who is now in satisfactory condition. Hasman is now having to defend himself in court, after having to post $10,000 bail. The officer on the scene stated that it should be a matter of self-defense, in his opinion. Hasman who works for the New York State Lottery, has been suspended without pay and is now facing some serious legal costs, if the grand jury sends this case to trial.
