      You could say the rich have all the cake with a cherry on top, while they try to convince the rest of us that we want, must have, deserve an "austerity budget" that wipes out our social institutions and safety nets. Politicians try to sell us "shared sacrifice," but we don’t see them or their CEO cronies sacrificing much of anything.

       Until such time that our economy is treated as the means to a healthy, sustainable society, the corporate and political kings make money off war and chaos and have all the cake with a cherry on top.
